This year, ZPOS once again marked its presence at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, for one of the most prestigious sporting events on the international calendar: the World Superbike Championship.

This time, the challenge was to ensure a fully cashless payment operation, providing a fast and seamless experience for thousands of visitors over several days of competition.

An integrated digital operation supported by Zicket, which completely simplified the purchasing process throughout the venue.

An Operation Designed in Detail

Managing thousands of visitors at an event of this scale demands reliable, and above all, fast solutions. But to make the experience truly simple and efficient, it took more than technology: it was essential to ensure everything was exactly where it needed to be for the event.

For that reason, ten cashzones were installed at strategic points across the venue, allowing visitors to exchange cash for NFC wristbands.

With this system in place, payments became instant and secure, thanks to more than 60 terminals distributed throughout the food and beverage areas, all ready to keep up with the pace of the event.

Everything in the Palm of Your Hand

Each wristband was equipped with a QR Code that provided direct access to a simple, intuitive digital portal. Through this portal, visitors could top up their balance and check their transactions in real time, anytime and from any device.

This detail made all the difference, eliminating queues, simplifying payments, and providing autonomy and total transparency for all transactions.
